We as Filipinos like folklore so we watch this nightly too
bordado means "tattoed one" which are said to come alive when Joaquin is fighting the "bad" guys.

GMA Network's newest action-adventure series premiered Monday night with a bang.

Joaquin Bordado, played by Robin Padilla, ranked third (36.6 percent) in the February 8 to 11 overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

Marian Rivera's Marimar remained in the top slot with 43.8 percent followed by Richard Gutierrez's Kamandag with 39.8 percent.

The other GMA programs that made it in the top 10 were: Coffee Prince (No. 4 with 33.1 percent), 24 Oras (No. 5 with 27.2 percent), and Kung Ako Ikaw (No. 10 with 18.4 percent).

The other slots were occupied Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin's Lobo at No. 6 with 23.3 percent followed by Kung Fu Kids, 21.4 percent. TV Patrol World was in eight slot with 19.8 percent while Palos was in 9th slot with 19.5 percent.

Joaquin Bordado was an original created by writer Carlo J. Caparas in the late 1970s.
